No visit to London is complete until you have partaken in some of its quintessential traditions and institutions: the changing of the guards and, if possible, catching a glimpse into the lives of the Royal Family.  Our comprehensive tour includes both iconic London experiences.  Your guide will navigate to secure you a spot with a prime view at the Changing of the Guard, after which you’ll have the rare chance to visit the inside of the royal residence: Buckingham Palace. The palace opens its doors to visitors for a limited time each year and it seems that just about everyone would like to get inside!  Take advantage of having an expert local guide at your side to learn the secret to living these experiences like a real Londoner would!

Tour Start Time:

• Monday - Saturday 10.45; Meeting Time is 10.30am
• On Sundays the tour start at 10AM; Meeting Time is 09.45am

The changing of the guards ceremony takes place earlier in the morning.

Meeting Time:

• Monday - Saturday: 10.30am
• Sunday: 9.45am

You will need to be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before tour start time.

Duration: 2.5 Hours

Meeting Point: Duke of York column at Waterloo Place. This is the tall column with the statue on top.

Ending Point: Inside Buckingham Palace.

Additional Information:

• Changing of the Guard will not operate in rain and will be replaced with an extended walking tour.
• On occasional Sundays the changing of the guards may be rescheduled to early morning, meaning that we will not be able to see it.

• Tour not suitable for passengers with mobility problems and involves a fair amount of walking and stairs; comfortable shoes are recommended.

• Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags or backpacks on your tour.

• Weather is very changeable in London; please ensure you have adequate rainwear if required.

• We will do everything within our power to ensure timings and itineraries are respected; however, due to issues beyond our control, timings and sites are subject to change to last minute changes on rare occasions.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation on its tours to any guest under the influence of drugs or alcohol or to any guests whose behaviour is disorderly, or poses a threat to other guests and staff.
