Byzantine and Ottoman Wonders

First, enjoy a visit to the Rustem Pasa Mosque, a 16th century Ottoman mosque known to have the best examples of handmade Iznik tiles, laid both inside and outside the mosque. You will then visit Topkapi Palace, the imperial residence of Ottoman sultans, were you'll see fine examples of Chinese porcelain, calligraphy and much more. Then it’s on to the spice market, an oriental shopping area filled with colourful spices, herbs, fruit, vegetables and leatherware.
