Cairo by Air

Fly to Cairo from Sharm el Sheikh and experience the famous and amazing Pyramids of Giza and The Sphinx and visit the most important places in Cairo!

You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning and transferred to Sharm airport to take your flight to Cairo (55 min). Upon arrival in Cairo the qualified Egyptologist guide will meet you and accompany you for a visit to the Pyramids, Chephren and Mykerinus, the world's oldest attractions. They are considered to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world surviving to date. You will then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates from the time of Chephren. Afterwards you will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch we will proceed to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the best collections of the ancient Egyptian artefacts from the Pharaonic, Greek and Roman to Coptic eras. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. End your day in Khan El Khalili bazar, the heart of Cairo, and practice your haggling skills. This is also a chance to experience the real atmosphere of the Egyptian lifestyle. Return to the airport for your flight back to Sharm.

• You will be picked up at approximately 6am and arrive back at Sharm at about 9pm.
• Tour runs Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on availability.
• Included: Round-trip transfer from hotel to venue and back to the hotel, lunch, English-speaking guide.
• Please note: Passports and visas are required for this trip.
• Trousers and shirts need to be worn as well as comfortable shoes.
• Important: Entry inside the Pyramids is NOT included. This can be purchased in Cairo but availability is very limited. Entrance fees are 100 EGP for the large pyramid and 35 EGP to the small one. The middle one is closed. The ticket office on site will only sell 150 tickets per day. Tickets can not be bought in advance. The ticket office opens from 8am so you need to tell your guide on arrival to Cairo that you want to purchase tickets before you start your tour. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis.

This tour requires a visa as you will travel outside of the Sinai area. This must be purchased from the bank inside the airport upon arrival in Sharm. The price of this visa is US$15 and is not included in the price of this excursion.
