Day Trip to Sicily - From Malta

Enjoy an unforgettable day trip from Malta to the beautiful Italian island of Sicily.

Upon arrival in Pozzallo, Sicily, you will proceed by coach through Catania, passing Via Etna (the main street in Catania) during which your experienced guide will give you a running commentary about the city and Mount Etna.

At Mount Etna, you'll drive up to the Sylvester Craters where there will be time for lunch (not included) and souvenir shopping. After this you will depart from Mt Etna bound for Taormina. Please note that from October and until April you will visit Modica instead.

Enjoy free time in Taormina (Modica) centre to take in the stunning panoramic views overlooking Giardini Naxos, a former Greek colony and now an international yachting centre, before returning to Pozzallo for your departure back to Malta.

Ticket Information

Tour Availability: Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays and Sundays only.

Pick up Time: Pick up from the hotel will be from 5am however is dependent upon hotel location. Please call to reconfirm once in resort to check departure times.

Drop Off Time: The ferry arrives back in Malta at approximately 11.15pm - drop off to hotels will be after this time and the time is dependent upon hotel location.

Duration: Full Day approximately 17 hours.

Additional Information: Leaving Malta at approximately 6.30am on the ferry to Sicily and arrivng back to Malta at approximately 11.15pm.

Ferry Duration: 90 mins approximately.
