Discover Venice Walking Tour and Gondola Ride

This new combined Venice in 1 Day Tour includes two sightseeing tours of Venice through which you can truly experience and appreciate the uniqueness and splendour of the city.

You'll take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Venice, learning about its colourful past through its most characteristic and iconic attractions along with its lesser-known sites. The tour is composed of two parts and allows you to discover the lesser-known places of Venice and to try a means of transport found only in this city!

 During your walking tour you will explore the area around Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Learn about the top attractions and stop for photos in front of Venice's cultural centerpieces such as Teatro la Fenice, Scala del Bovolo and Rialto Bridge. Your guide will determine the exact itinerary, depending on the day. Please note that there is no visit to San Marco Square or St Marks Basilica.

After your walking tour get ready to hop aboard a classic gondola boat (for up to 6 people) and enjoy a 30-minute ride through the famous Grand Canal as well as the smaller canals around the neighbourhood of San Marco and Rialto.

The Gondola is as unique as Venice itself; their crescent-shaped hulls and their forcole that allow the Gondelieri to position their oars in many different ways are the secrets to how these long and slender crafts can navigate the narrow and intricate network of waterways of Venice.

Please note that this is not a private gondola ride and it will be shared with others up to 6 passengers per gondola. Please note there is also a minimum of 4 passengers require for this tour to operate. if minimum numbers are not reached we will try to accommodate your tour for another day or a full refund will be organised.

Ticket Information

Tour Availability: Daily except for certain days around the Christmas and New Year period.

Meeting Point: Calle larga de l’Ascension San marco, in front of post office and main entrance of Correr Museum.

Start Time: 3pm all year round.

Meeting Time: Please be at meeting point at least 15min before departure time.

Duration: 2hrs approx.

Drop off Time: 6pm approx.

Pick up times and drop off times are approximate and subject to change.

Additional Information: Tour not suitable for passengers with mobility problems. Children under 5 are not allowed on this tour. Please note you will be sharing the gondola with other clients.

Tours may require a minimum amount of people for them to operate and may be cancelled (or rescheduled) if there are not enough participants.

When you’ve Booked: You’ll receive an initial confirmation from us immediately. We will then send your booking details to the supplier within 48 hours to request confirmation.
