Dolphin Swims at Bahia Principe Resort (Tulum) Mayan Riviera

The dolphin pool here is relatively small but you meet the unparalleled experience of swimming with dolphins in one of the most beautiful locations in the world and marvel at their skills and strength and be charmed by one of the most extraordinary creatures on the planet.

We have three different experiences here, each offering something a little different. Please see the information below and look at the ticket information for more details;
 

DOLPHIN SWIM
This is the most popular choice by guests. Touch, kiss and hug the dolphin and enjoy lots of free time with them in the water. In addition, you choose from either taking a “dorsal tow” through our lagoons or a “foot-push” over the crystal clear water.  This program has 2 dolphins present.

• Includes: Orientation session, An introduction to dolphin behavior and physiology, Personal interaction such as dolphin kiss, hug, greet & wave and a foot push or dorsal ride.
• Suitable for Children 6 years and older. Participants must be a minimum height of 1.22m

DOLPHIN SWIM & RIDE
Another popular option is this Swim & Ride. Touch, kiss and hug the dolphin and enjoy lots of free time with them in the water. See them play underwater with your mask and in addition, you enjoy an exhilarating Belly Ride. This program has 1 dolphin present.

• Includes: Orientation session, An introduction to dolphin behavior and physiology, Personal interaction such as dolphin kiss, hug, greet & wave, Belly Ride, time to swim with your mask to see them underwater.
• Suitable for Children 6 years and older. Participants must be a minimum height of 1.22m

DOLPHIN INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
This experience is perfect for young children and people with lesser swim ability. This program starts with an introduction to world of the dolphins where the trainers will show you how to really enjoy your encounter. Swimmers can touch the dolphin, listen to them sing and watch them play as well as receive a kiss & hug. This program has 1 dolphin present.

• Includes: Orientation session, An introduction to dolphin behavior and physiology, Personal interaction such as dolphin kiss, hug, greet & wave.
• Suitable for Children 3 years and older.

All experiences will take approximately 1 hour, of which 40 minutes are spent with the Dolphins.

Please note:

• For safety reasons pregnant women cannot participate in any of our aquatic programs.
• For your own safety, during your experience it is important to leave your personal belongings such as your camera, video and jewellery outside of the pool area. Lockers are available to rent for approximately $4.00.
• To participate clients must have the ability to understand instructions.
• The itinerary and inclusions of any ticket which features animals is subject to change without notice. We cannot offer any refunds when any such changes are made as these are beyond our control.

DOLPHIN INTERACTIVE PROGRAM

This experience is perfect for young children and people with lesser swim ability.   Suitable for Children 3 years and older.

• The Bahia Principe Hotel Tulum is located at Highway Chetumal - Cancun Km 250, Mexico. 77760.    

• You are expected to make your own way to the Dolphinarium. (At the hotel there are golf carts available to take you to there.)

• Dolphin Swims take place 5 times daily between 9:30am and 4pm. We will book you in for any available time slot.

• Please ensure you are at the venue at least 20mins prior to your designated Swim.

• You will spend 40 minutes with the dolphins! The total experience takes approximately 1 hour.

• The use of safety vests is required in all water programs.

• Lockers are available to rent at approximately $4.00.

• We recommend you to wear comfortable beachwear, swim suit and to bring a change of clothes, a towel and money for photos, souvenirs and food or beverages.

• Remember to use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment and our marine species! We strongly advise you not to wear any other skin products nor make-up or perfume, as Dolphins are extremely delicate animals.
