This tour will take you by hydrofoil across the beautiful Bay of Naples for a tour around the island of Ischia where you can visit the stunning Mortella Gardens.
Upon arrival in Ischia, you'll have free time to enjoy the shops, cafes and restaurants before embarking on a coach tour around the island and stopping at Picco S. Angelo.
From here you can take an optional visit to Mortella Gardens, famous throughout the world for its beauty.
Mortella Gardens were created by the English composer, William Walton and his Argentinian wife, Susana. Walton loved the isolation of Ischia and composed his music there for 35 years. Susana believed there was a connection between music and gardening and planted the grounds with a huge variety of colourful plants.
You'll then continue your tour around the rest of the island. Ischia is known as the Green Isle because of its lush, verdant vegetation. It is also the only place in the area with real sand beaches because it is a volcanic island dominated by the now dormant Mount Epomeo volcano. At the end of the tour, you'll return by hydrofoil to Sorrento.

Tour available Thursdays between April and October.
Meeting Time: 9am - Please be at meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure time.
Duration: approx. 10 Hrs.
Meeting Point: Tour starts in Front of “Bar LA SCOGLIERA” , Marina Piccola – Port of Sorrento (Clients have to reach meeting point on their own).
Additional Information: Tour not suitable for passengers with mobility problems.
Exclusions: Entrance into Mortella Gardens Park (12€ approx) and Lunch NOT included,(payment on the spot).
