Volcano and Hot Springs Boat Trip Santorini

This short tour will take you by boat to see two lava islands with their Volcanos and will allow you to swim in the sulphuric Hot Springs.

The tour starts by bus to Athinios port where you will board the boat that will cruise to the lava island Nea Kameni. Here you will have the opportunity to ascend the soil path and approach the crater of the still active volcano.

After seeing this fantastic sight, you will cruise to the second lava islet called Palea Kameni where you can find the Hot Springs. Here, the boat will make a stop approximately 50 meters from the Hot Springs opening where you will have an opportunity to swim in the green sulphur waters or simply just sit back and relax and enjoy the view.

Finally you will return to Athinios port where you will board the bus back to the point you started the tour from.

Please note entrance fees, port taxes and meals are not included. Please note that there is a €2.50pp entrance fee to the volcano which is collected by local authorities on the spot.

Please note: Occasionally actual days of operation are subject to change. If this is the case we will endeavour to book a day as close as possible to your original preferred day. Should this not be acceptable a full refund will be made.

Tour Information

Tour Availability: Daily between 21st May and 13th October.

Departure Information: The tour starts at approximately 09.30am. We return at around 1pm.

Pick-ups are specific and are at 3 main designated areas only: Kamari, Perissa & Thira. Pick up times are fixed and for this particular tour will be as follows:

• Departure from Kamari: 09:00hrs
• Departure from Fira: 09:15hrs
• Departure from Perissa: 09:00hrs

Please phone the number on your voucher at least 24 hours before your booked tour departs to get the exact information on your pick up time and location.

Duration: 4 hrs approximately.

Inclusions: Transport and English speaking assistant.

Exclusions: Food and drink, entrance fees to the volcano are collected by local authorities (€2.50 per person) on the spot and any other services not mentioned above.

Additional Information: We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and adequate footwear and bring swimwear and sun lotion. We do not recommend that people with walking or mobility difficulties partake in this tour.
