Wine and Cava Tour - From Barcelona

Calling all wine lovers! Visit three excellent wine and cava cellars in Catalonia, Spain’s most important wine producing region, on this very popular guided tour which includes cheese and wine tastings and a delicious brunch.

This 8-hour guided tour takes you to three wine and cava cellars in the Penedes area in the heart of Catalonia, where wine has been produced for over 2,000-years. Today, Catalonia is the biggest producer of Spanish wine, with cava accounting for half of the 380 million bottles produced in the region each year.

During the tour, you’ll visit the Bodegues Jean Leon Winery for a guided tour and get to taste two different wines. Afterwards the tour continues at the Bodegues Torres Winery where you can try 3 wines and 3 cheeses. 
Taste two different sparkling wines (Cava) and appetizers at Cavas Freixenet Winery. At the end of the tour, you’ll be returned safely back to the departure point in Barcelona.

Tour Availability: The tour runs on Sundays and Thursdays between 12th November and 18th March and on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 19th March and 11th November.

Departure Time: 08.30am.

Meeting Time: Please be at meeting point at least 15min before departure time.
